The Ladies & The Gents

One night. One L.A. club. Two bathrooms. 40 stories. Peek out from behind the mirror and get a glimpse of all the crazy, funny and ridiculous things that go on in the bathrooms of a douchey Los Angeles club over the course of a single night. Shot in one take with no cuts or edits, each episode is like sketch comedy meets one-act play. Only with less Pinter. From the creators behind “Life from the Inside,” “The Further Adventures of Cupid and Eros” and “ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining” comes “The Ladies” and “The Gents,” 2 companion comedy web series! L&G was a massive collaborative project that involved over 125 talents from the web series community. 24 writers, 23 directors and 86 actors came together to create stories that ranged from the grounded (a woman practices her pitch before meeting a potential employer at happy hour) to the completely absurd (a bout of spontaneous river dancing breaks out in the men’s room when the DJ add some river dance to his mix). Featuring Natalie Morales (The Middleman), Phil Morris (Seinfeld, Smallville), Chris Powers (Bad Ads from Chirs), Matthew Mercer (Ironman: Rise of the Technovore), Tara Platt (Shelf Life), Yuri Baranovsky (Leapyear) and many more.

Our take: Ok, this series is pretty funny. This episode is from the “Gents,” and I checked out some episodes from the the “Ladies,” as well. Scenes from a public bathroom… we can all relate.

Love it? Cool. Find the series here: The Ladies & The Gents
